Apply to Join the Crew of hamble Lifeboat
Joining Hamble Lifeboat requires attendance to Crew Training every Wednesday at 19:30 (except the final Wednesday of the month) and to perform at least two weekend crew duties a month between 09:30 & 18:00 BST and 10:00 & 17:00 UTC. We strongly advise you discuss this with your family prior to application.

    AVAILABILITY FOR PAGER CALL-OUT
     Please indicate if you could respond to pager call outs (taskings outside the normal weekend and bank holiday periods). To respond to a pager call you MUST live/or work within ten minutes of the station AND be able to GUARANTEE that you will be attending a call within that specified time.

    I understand that I am applying to join an Emergency Volunteer Lifeboat Crew. All the information I have given is correct to the best of my knowledge.
  • I confirm my availabilty for crew training every Wednesday, except the last Wednesday of the month and availability for a minimum of two weekend crew duties every month, to include Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday cover.
  • I understand that completion of this form is not a guarantee of acceptance into the Hamble Lifeboat Crew and that my application will be discussed with two senior members of the service. Further I acknowledge that no correspondence will be entered into in the event of a declined application.
